An all-Indian entrance exam called the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) is used to determine whether applicants who are lawful citizens of India are qualified to enrol in DBT-sponsored postgraduate programmes in biotechnology and related fields at participating colleges and universities.
